Despite both providers working in China, NordVPN WINS because it's more reliable and offers better speeds in this country. Mullvad VPN works only while using OpenVPN and Bridge Mode, but it reduces speeds and increases latency, which isn't something you want for browsing, streaming, or gaming.
You must be joking. Nord is like the AOL of VPN's. Mullvad is designed to be more private and secure than any of them. It's really the only one you can sign up for without anyone ever knowing who you are, and who owns your account with them. I browse and stream just fine on Mullvad, and have never found anything 'unreliable' about them. On the other hand, use Nord's buggy Windows desktop app and you'll discover what 'unreliable' is all about.
Yes, Nord is a bit faster but I'm on a VPN for privacy, not speed tests. Did Nord for a year recently -- the constant upsell ads they send to your desktop app were obnoxious beyond belief and likely break most of your security goals since they're probably sending the advertising info to doubleclick and google. I gladly pay the extra 2 bucks a month to know my privacy is secure with Mullvad.
