From August 25th to September 21st, Costco [costco.com] will have for their Members: Casper Cooling Select 12" Memory Foam Mattress (Queen) for $479.99. Shipping is free.

OP Note: Costco's ad says it's $120 off which makes the price $599.99. Online I'm seeing $649.99 so a tad confused about the difference. It should be $479.99 both online and in store when the sale goes live though with I assume free shipping.

Features:
  • Cooling Knit Cover and Premium Breathable Foam for All-night Comfort
  • Zoned Support for Alignment and Comfort
  • Four-layer Foam Construction: Breathable Top Layer, Pressure-relieving Memory Foam, Zoned Support™, Durable Base Layer
  • Certi-pur Certified Foam + No Ozone Depleting Chemicals
  • Ships in a Conveniently Compact Box

My understanding is Costco online usually has Shipping & Handling Included for mattresses (I've seen $30-$50 over the store price online)But you get the delivery to home or for returns pickup from home..If you got it in store it has to back in store.. (Could be a problem for those vacuum compressed ones which are opened up and didn't like the softness or hardness)

I bought this mattress last time it was on sale. Perfect amount of firmness. 200lb male here. Had it about 4 months, zero sag.

I've never bought a memory foam mattress before and not sure what to expect. It's marked as "medium" in terms of firmness. Is that on the same scale as a regular non-memory foam mattress?

Looking to buy a new queen mattress for my 10 year old. He's been using a relatively firm mattress and wants a softer one

Medium is a little bit firm usually but still good enough if you're a side sleeper. Just ask if they're a side sleeper, back, or stomach.

My son is 10. He moves a lot, but i think he spends most of his time on his side and stomach

My wife and I got the king version of this in December 2024 and brought it back. 145lbs and 120lbs, mostly side and back sleepers and this thing was like sleeping on a wooden board.

Does this come rolled up? In my experience those turn into tacos after about a year. I'm under 180lbs too so it's not the weight.

yes - rolled up. I've bought two bed in boxes and haven't ever had one taco on me.

I had purchased this mattress from Costco but ended up returning it. It was way more soft than expected and caused a ton of back pain. Ended up with a Saatva I've been way happier with. It's a shame, because the price was just so good.

Yeah, I need more input, or I will go back to another Ikea firm foam mattress.

Got the sale book in the mail today and can confirm it is in there for $479.99 queen size as shown. It does say "May be available on Costco.com for a delivered price". So I'm guessing the delivered price will be higher than the $479.99. Item 1748800
