I load all to my Amazon GC/credit
This is not liquidation. Also, what is the point of even bothering with these if you are going to load them on amazon? You earn 5% back with your INK and load them on amazon, but could just use Prime Visa for 5% back on amazon. Unnecessary hassle, seems to me

Just a guess, maybe they don't have a prime visa. Also, 5% in Chase Ultimate Rewards can be worth more that 5% cash back from Amazon.

Im offering a gift card (bestbuy, lowe's, even amazon) as a reward to anyone who would share a way to liquidate Virtual VGC into cash with low fees. The amount of the reward GC will depend on how good the method is.

I'm getting these from work all the time. Not sure what got you triggered. You dont have to respond to every comment you know
Why would they share?

That's a tough question, but I'll give it a shot.
Generally, physical cards will start to melt at about 135ºF, so I'd normally recommend a higher-temp sous vide for liquidating those if you have a multicooker on hand. However, I've never tried to liquidate electronic VGC because I lack the welding equipment necessary to melt a hard drive.
In all seriousness, just grab the 5X points off of these and then use them somewhere online that normally punishes you for paying with credit card or comparatively rewards you for paying with debit (utilities, rent portals, etc.).

Never encountered a single entitywhere they'd "punish" / charge more for credit card payments than they charge on VGCs. If there is a fee, it is the same for all cards

Any way to get the physical one? These virtuals are very hard to liquidate
could you expand on why they are hard to use?

I'm assuming he/she is using "liquidate" to mean convert to cash and not to buy goods/services or pay bills. Certain common methods of liquidating are dead.

Many merchants set fees based on whether the card is expected to run over credit vs debit rails to cover interchange fees. Some will also block credit bins entirely. Luckily, bins are often poorly mapped and regulations on debit interchange rates is only regulated via Dodd Frank on issuers with over $10B in assets. If you haven't encountered this, it's because you're not looking at the right plays.

Agree, we buy many of staples visa cards to help fullfill requirements for bonus points on a new cc. And to us airline points worth a lot more than 5% cash rewards

Typically these cards do not work outside of USA.

Do you also get cash back if going through a cash back site or does that not work when buying these online?
