Typically these cards do not work outside of USA.
You are right, they don't.
I think one of those small print pages you have to go through purchasing these mention as much.

Well, this guys knows his cards. What is the best way to liquidate these, mate?
I just paid for another year with Tracfone. $125 + tax
These will work to pay for my health insurance premiums.
I haven't tried linking to Google Wallet yet.

Just a guess, maybe they don't have a prime visa. Also, 5% in Chase Ultimate Rewards can be worth more that 5% cash back from Amazon.
or maybe they are trying to make a spending bonus on a new card, Agreed that 5% chase UR is wayyyyyy better than 5% Amazon especially if you travel and have a saphire Reserve card!

Any way to get the physical one? These virtuals are very hard to liquidate
1) Add it to your phone digital wallet and pay for groceries or any other place you can tap to pay.
2) Costco since it's a visa
3) add it to Amazon as a form of payment or as credit for future purchases. If you want the option to buy gift cards with it through Amazon (for specific stores for example,
use it as a payment form)
4)[and in combination with all above] keep the card numbers handy to pay for online purchases.
Keep track of spending. You can register the card, usually. Or just use the visa page to check amount left if you want to check.

I offer my non-tech-savvy relatives the service of buying things they want on Amazon.

They are the type of people who struggle with computers but then refuse to get any outside (non-family) help. They also are stubborn enough to not want to learn anything new.

I stack this with CC SIBs and CB, so I profit hundreds of dollars every year spending barely 20sec/day buying stuff for them.

How do you easily liquidate the physical ones?
You can buy a money order with physical VGC at many grocery stores plus Walmart.

Those businesses generally tell their employees not to accept gift cards for money services but make some friends and it works fine.

I was liquidating 20-30k/day consistently right up until Simon shut down last month. (technically, 80-100k/day on weekends but ordering 20-30 everyday)
I'm doing some Vanilla's right now but I really need a volume replacement for Simon. If anyone has a volume source, I'd be delighted to pay you for your time and expertise. DM me.

Do you also get cash back if going through a cash back site or does that not work when buying these online?
Cash Back is not available on gift cards.

Somedays, I feel like Staples would do better pay me $5 in rewards and kick me in the balls.

Let's have some great loss leaders where we sell gift cards and virtual gift cards at cost to get customers.

1. Except that Sunday morning when we open, let's not have any gift cards in store, and give a business customer dirty looks while he tries to find some.
2. Let's say "limit 5" when "money laundering laws" actually limit your purchase to $999 or less (i.e. 4 cards)
3. Let's "delay" the shipment of your virtual gift cards - what? Are you out of virtual gift cards too?

I gotta say, i hit all of these three point this week.
1. went in store at 11:15 and i was told they are out. I am sure they don't have it in begin with but they are saying caz i was 15 min late to reach store..
2. Yes, can't buy 5.. need to get 4 only
3. it took a day to get the card. But I wouldn't worry since if it doesn't come through, i can always charge back.

are you sure this card work with google wallet? Last time I got Amazon $200 VGC, also issued by Pathward. It simply doesn't support Google Wallet.
