"No way"? These will auto drain at many B&M stores, among other things.

Negative. Several stores like costco takes remaining balance automatically from the card when you swipe and rest you can pay with other form of payment.

Also, you can always register on the website back of the card and check your transaction or even use to pay utilities or any other online transaction. I have been using this since many years and never had any trouble. With some credit card it gives 5% cashback and if that cashback used for travel you get 50% more means 7.5% cashback for travels.

Costco registers empty them completely. I usually wait until I have 5 or so. Then stop at liquor store on way in (separate store here in the free state of Florida) and load to shop card. Then scan shop card with app and turn-on auto apply. You will get an extra pop up at self-checkout asking to use virtual wallet. BTW, this works with the MC ones as well except you have to set and then enter a PIN for every card.

"card it gives 5% cashback and if that cashback used for travel you get 50% more means 7.5% cashback for travels."
So, if you use those point for travel, it will be 7.5% cashback.
