I would stay away. As someone who has been in the back of hundreds of commercial kitchens, I have never seen one of these pans being used. I used a knockoff hexclad that I purchased from my local Asian grocer about 8 years ago. It looked identical to hexclad in every way, and likely was. It turned out to be a master of none. I would stick with stainless/carbon steel, ceramic nonstick, and cast iron. Never use metal or abrasives on nonstick and don't max out the temp. Cast iron is good if you don't mind doing a little research and routine maintenance. Carbon steel warps if heated too quickly, so I prefer stainless. For nonstick, just buy the cheapest ceramic coated one you can find. Regardless of which one you use or how well they are treated, they will lose their nonstick properties after a certain number of uses/washes. Also, don't listen to cast iron snobs telling you that nonstick doesn't have its place in the kitchen. No amount of cast iron seasoning will ever be able to do some of the things nonstick can.
