If the rumors are to be believed the 5070 super will be the same msrp and have 18gb vram. Depending on what games you play it may be worth waiting for the extra vram at the same price.
I have a 3060 6gb gpu. Should I get this or wait a few months for the next iteration?
That all depends on the other specs of your PC. If your PSU is high enough wattage and if your CPU won't bottleneck with this GPU. This isn't a terrible price on the 5070, though.

I'm planning on going one of 2 routes. Pick up a open box 5070 or 5070ti off Amazon if I find a great enough deal. Otherwise, I will wait for the supers to come out. Got my current MSI 4070 open box for $520 when the cards originally came out. If I see a 5070 for $500 or less I might bite..
Nvidia's 5070 MSRP = $549. 21% off 'scalping' prices (of a card released months ago) back to msrp is not really a "deal", per se. Yes, prices have been astronomical due to high demand and low supply, but if you may have noticed, prices have [finally] started to normalize.

6000 series, from everything I've seen, likely won't be released until late 2026 and possibly early 2027.

Either way, this would be a significant upgrade. Hard to endorse this card when it was being sold much higher than MSRP, but at this price it's okay.
I wouldn't expect to be able to find a 5070 Super for anywhere near this price at launch, even if MSRP is the same.
