this is actually a really slick deal even though the price already jumped to 2212 with 15x in stock, bestbuy has this for 2900+ and microcenter website doesn't even have this model listed, just look at the photos, the cooler is a beast compared to the founders edition and you definitely want this cooler over the stock cooler from Nvidia on a 5090, too bad I have no use for this so someone else can have it, I plan to get 5080 super as my 850w titanium power supply may be too low for 5090 even though my 55" 8k display would be happy to pair with a 5090
Can I afford to buy a $2k GPU? Yes. Am I going to when my 3060 is still by far enough to get me by with frame generation? No.
I think we are going to start seeing dramatic price reductions in GPUs as frame generation continues to get better by the day. While I do love getting raw FPS, I can't see paying 4x on what I would normally spend and then have to upgrade to an insane 1000w power supply. Maybe Nvidia should make an AI model that figures out a way to make their products more power efficient.

It's showing $2145 for me. Wonder if Amazon is doing dynamic pricing based off customer. Maybe you're tagged as someone more likely to buy the GPU and they increase the price.

yes, I heard about dynamic pricing, the feds need to crack down on this bs, other comments seem to point to seller named Fateka computer store, the lowest for me is named IPC-STORE, maybe the other seller with lower price doesn't ship to CA
