We bought that one about 2 months ago. I was surprised at the quality for the price. The 2 batteries and case are nice. We've used it to cut several branches and it worked great. I also used it to cut a large hole in sheetrock in my ceiling to repair a water leak (was all I had at the time) and it went through iit like butter.

Battery fires are much less likely without a current running through them.

Yes the battery are interchangeable and have the same ports and both batteries works with each chainsaw. They are clearly from the same manufacturer. With a slighty tigher fit when Interchanging them.
