Better processor for batterylife, better ram, flip/2-in-1, lighter and better screen. However this model has a WiFi 6 vs WiFi 7 for the Costco model. Those are the major differences. Oh, and the Costco processor is better for workloads.

Essentially, do you value on go convenience or slightly less convenience but more processing power.

I'm in the process of returning the $899 Costco one, the screen's text clarity is really bad. That one has a way better processor ( 6 performance cores ) if you're doing heavy duty stuff with it, but this laptop will trounce it in battery life and screen quality, also not having the number pad is a HUGE luxury. I'm buying this one, this 2880x1800 OLED HP uses is absolutely incredible in person

Do you think the the $975 Omnibook X deal from HP is comparable to this one at $225 less?

This microcenter Omnibook 7 has the Intel Core Ultra 9 288v vs the Omnibook X's Ryzen AI 7 350, which I'm pretty sure the Intel Ultra 9 is a good deal faster than the Ryzen 7 here. And the ram on this one is faster. but is it $225 better?

It has the great screen, so huge plus there. I have the predecessor 16" HP w/ the AMD 8840HS or whatever and I already find that laptop too slow to use for most things and it's less than a year old, so despite starting out as a bit of an AMD fanboy, I'm kind of anti-AMD laptop CPU right now based on that experience. If you're pretty sure slower responsiveness won't bug you in daily use compared to an Intel it seems like a solid discount

Costco is Ultra 7, which is cheaper than Ultra 9 but more efficient. The screen says 2K, but it really is a little over 1080p. This one is truly 3K, so it's three times more resolution. Personally, I would just go with the Costco one.

dudes plz this cpu is the worst ever made performs real bad its even worde than amd CPUs fron 2023 dont pay anymore than 500bucks for this turtle
