I have two Vaulteks that I use for HD and I trust with my life to open (actually had an incident a few weeks ago and it opened when I needed it to); and recently just got one of these biometrics from Bill Conch. I'm still putting it through the wringer before I'd consider actually using it but so far so good. I've opened it about 50 times now and not one miss with the finger scan. I want to get to 500 before complete confidence.

That's a lot of testing. I keep threatening my wife that I'm going to buy 2 of these for our bedside tables now that we have grandchildren. At this price I can do it abs not feel like I've been ripped off. So am I right that it doesn't have an AC adapter, or a way to run it off ac without that usb plug sticking out?
