I can't speak to the quality of the other parts (although 16gb is good and NVME is surprisingly good for a laptop this cheap) but an N150 isn't actually that bad as a processor. Similar to a mid-range Intel from several years ago, but uses a tenth of the power. It's basically just 4 efficiency cores, no performance cores.I set my mom up with one on windows for emailing and web browsing and it's more than fine for her needs, including YouTube. I'm just not sure how easy it would be to run chromeOS on it. I'd be inclined to think it better just to get a similarly priced Chromebook.

There's a HP with the same CPU but significantly less RAM and probably eMMC memory. I think RAM is upgradeable but not the storage. Goes for $150 on sale. I would consider that for basic needs.
