Hi, question for those with these AOVOPRO scooters.

I know the low-end LP60/LP80 can be overclocked to hit 19mph using the app. Can these higher-end models like the TMAX and ESMAX also hit higher speeds using the app too?

Also the tires. Not sure what it means for ESMAX: "10 "solid tire, high tech self seal meterial, jelly glue seal, instant automatic repair and seal the tire, will never have tyre flat."

Don't think it is a solid tires without any tube inside. I went to TMAX for that reason.

You can see valve stems in the video.

If this one uses Panasonic 18650 battery cells, I would buy it. Usually the aliexpress scooter battery is not good. Even the capacity is fake.

You can overclock the clock rate on these like you can a computer cpu? Thats wild, so is there a multiplier you need to increase with an app or something and how does faster calculations affect a scooter's performance? More torque? Higher top end speed? I had no idea you could do this with a scooter.

For what it's worth - I purchased two AovoPro scooters at the beginning of summer. They have 14" tires and a seat/basket combo on the back, so not this exact scooter.

The pros - They were cheap, but they do feel solid (safe) and have been fun for short trips around towns we visit and want to explore. For the price and flexibility it has given us, as well as fitting in our vehicle easily, they've been great. The power impressed me compared to other budget scooters I've owned in similar hub motor class - they make it up a large hill that none of the other sub $300 scooters have conquered. It could be due in part to the larger diameter tire.

That being said - battery/range isn't up to what was stated on the product page. Typical for these cheaper scooters/bikes, so plan accordingly. It takes a little trial and error to figure out your scooter - don't assume your last bar or two will last as long as the first couple!

Having owned 5 different scooters - none of them are perfect. Find something that fits your budget and stay safe out there!

It is nothing so technical on these aovopro scooters, sir. I am awaiting an LP80 but understand that there is simply a button in the app that will increase the top speed from 16 to 19mph, making their cheapest model more competitive with the posted speeds of the more expensive models.

Perhaps they do it so they can advertise a higher max range. There are no such speed restrictions in the US.

Now as far as modding the hyper scooters, yes my understanding is that you absolutely can modify specific parameters like throttle input and torque output. Those are the scooters that can hit 70+ mph where people mod their batteries and controllers

Ohh you mean removing the electronic governor, aka limiter. You see, the term "overclocking" refers to raising the literal clock cycles, or the time it takes for a computer cpu to execute its smallest instruction to increase performance. They are called clock timings. Thats how the speed of things like CPUs are measured You can't overclock something that isn't measured in clock cycles. Obviously I'm talking the literal sense of what the word overclock means. I understand what you meant but correct terminology matters. it's the same as you don't overclock a car to increase performance. Everything has its own terminology to measure or increase performance, largely based on how that extra performance is gained.

I did overclock my car and it's also faster than yours
