FYI the clicks on this mouse are punishingly loud. Like 2-3x louder than normal. I can hear it through my headphones and my girlfriend can hear it through a sheetrock wall.

Really. That's sad to hear. I had a deathadder 1 that lasted me 4 years and I loved it. Switched to a viper ultimate and was thinking about switching to this but guess not.

I used to run a deathadder but the mouse was too small to palm grip with larger hands. Better suited for claw grip. I found the basilisk sizing significantly more comfortable.

The scroll wheel sensor has a known issue on this mouse after about a year. Many soldering repair videos to replace sensor on YouTube.

if you spent $80 on a mouse, 1. I'd break up with you. 2. I'd still pwn you with my $5 mouse.

You must be young if you think $80 for a hobby is a lot, and you're awfully shallow if that would be a reason to break up with someone.

I've been using Razer DA's, since the MS habu, I love the shape, really just fits me perfectly. That said, the v3 feels off to me, the shape was tweaked, and it also feels the most cheaply made of any DA mice I've owned. I've found myself mostly using the v2, and the Elite. I've bought backups of both since they're discontinued.

Thanks for reminding me this is not the basilisk. Started with deathadders but could not give up my basilisk going forward.
