From my research, any merger / buyout spirit was offered was blocked or rejected. They are two separate companies and spirit just got out of bankruptcy by cutting routes.

Avoid it like plague. Worst airline ever.
Terminal crew is straight out of Popeyes Chicken.
If you didn't have any previous bad experience then it's a miracle. Luck will eventually run out.
Never buy for family trips. Will assign kids solo seats.
