Just buy and cancel the flight within 24 hours. I did the famous Lax - LAS for $16.

Avoid it like plague. Worst airline ever.
Terminal crew is straight out of Popeyes Chicken.
If you didn't have any previous bad experience then it's a miracle. Luck will eventually run out.
Never buy for family trips. Will assign kids solo seats.

I've had a terrible experience with this airline. On two separate occasions, my flight was either canceled or delayed at the last minute. This airline's delay caused me to miss my connection. One time, the only rebooking option they offered was a 23-hour layover with no hotel, so I had to purchase a new, expensive ticket on another airline.

I keep getting an error saying my information is not adequate for the flight. tried several times. after some lookup it means that you need discount den before booking. anyone get around that?

I was offered Disruption Assistance for $4 which says $200 in any airline if flight delayed by 2+ hours or $200 cash refund if you want to keep rebooking options. I opted for it. I think it's a fair option. Not sure how it will work out but better to have something as plan B

FYI for anyone getting the passenger details error when trying to book I found a work around. Not ideal if you actually have miles with frontier but after getting that error with every fare I tried I setup a new frontier miles account with a different email. I was then able to book right away and it showed the discount den status immediately, it must be something associated with certain current accounts. I'm going to cancel the ticket shortly to verify the status will still remain.

That's good to know. Sounds like it's good if you are VERY flexible with your traveling or staying with someone close to the airport/sleeping in the airport. I would hate to take a trip somewhere and not be able to get a flight back for a day or two.
