Too small for a TV, too large for a monitor
it's all relative to the size of your space. 55" is perfect for our bedroom, 65" is ideal for our living room. LG oled in both.

I got the 65 from microcenter a month ago. It's excellent, plenty bright. Does reflect light from windows that are facing it but I am picky about that. Great for the Nintendo switch too.

As a good example use for this 55 inch. Its the exact weight maximum with a light tv mount that can be mounted on a wall that has no studs.

Using those spider style screws that go into the wall and spread out on the other side of the wall. No special mounting just 4 of those plus the tv mount and the 55 inch tv.

so if your bedroom wall is hollow due to a fireplace on the other side or cabinets..ect. this is perfect.

The 65 across all tvs is too heavy unfortunately and 50 inch is good but why not take the extra 5inches and max out the weight limit.

the 700 price tag is really good, not just for being a c4. not even just because its 120hz but in general 55 for 700 oled is the best price. the 120hz and c4 quality is just icing on the cake.

I have 3x LG oleds in my home…about to buy this. All are perfect….no need for a warranty. Maybe for Samsung, hisense, tcl, and other China knockoff brands….no need here.

When I got my refurbed gen 1 48" I was offered to buy the warranty through microcenter which is pretty good, covers burn in and accidental damage last I knew. I didn't get it, it's been solid as my computer monitor for almost 6 years now.

My 9 year old LG 55EG9100 and 7 year old LG OLED55B8 beg to differ. The 3 year old 77in C2 remains to prove itself for longevity.
