It would be useful if it were on a better airline. Frontier, has been, in my experience the most likely to cancel a flight, & the most unhelpful when a flight is canceled. I'm super cheap but I won't fly with them anymore (and I still use Spirit, Sun Country, Ryan Air, etc.)

If you fly Frontier and buy any add-ons at all, this pretty quickly pays for itself. Just a carryon a few times pays for this.

Very useful if you would ordinarily fly Frontier. They're the only airline that flies direct TPA-CLE, which I do at least once or twice per year. I wish I could do this one but I did the one earlier this year.

I got this membership, then received an email from Link telling me to create an account using the email I use with Frontier Airlines. Link is a digital wallet service by Stripe. I also received an email to confirm my email address. I logged-in to the Link account and saw that the credit card (actually Frontier's) was stored in the wallet. I have deleted that account now, so please be aware of what is likely to happen.

I was shocked to learn i didn't need a high level of status with the other airlines in order to get this. I have the lowest level of free status from Spirit and they just gave me gold status at Frontier by just paying them this $69

Except only you get the benefits, not your travel companion. So if you book with your parter, sorry, they don't get a prefered seat or any seat unless you pay for it. Bag? Nope, just you. You'd have to buy this for both of you.

Any way for me to sign up for this if I previously took advantage of this offer? It only gave me Elite Gold status until Dec 2025 but would love to extend it through Dec 2026.


Actually just read the T&Cs. Looks like no:

· Purchasing this offer will not extend any existing Frontier Elite Status.

· Members who have previously done a Status Match and do not currently hold Frontier Gold status or higher are eligible for this offer if they meet the criteria.

Yes, it will be a big benefit if you share carry on luggage container. Seat selection is still an ok deal if you only have to pay for one upgraded seat versus two
