How does this compare to the hundreds of battery chargers on Amazon for cheaper with higher current output, and can do AGM batteries with repair mode?

How is 10amps higher than 20amps?

These chargers are all the same style under tons of random brand names. I bought one awhile ago and hated it. The first thing that tipped me off was its weight. It weighs practically nothing. The cables were so short, it made it annoying to use. The clamps kept slipping and popping off. And worst of all, it would spark like crazy when connecting and disconnecting from the battery. A big no-no if there had been any lingering battery gasses from charging.

I totally agree with you, not only it sparked every time, mine was supposed to trickle charge the battery, instead, the charger shut down for no reason and left my battery dead. Avoid these cheap-axx chargers.

At least here on SD, Eco-worthy has a solid reputation. Good bang for the buck with their promo pricing, and I haven't had issues personally, but I've heard they have decent customer support when needed.

Dang, that amazon one came today. I was, pretty impressed too. It did spark when I disconnected in the wrong order. But it seemed to charge up my AGM battery from 12.8V to 13.2V (verified with multimeter). I was pleasantly surprised that I can use it to measure battery voltage by connecting battery with plug into outlet.

The only thing that I'm unsure on is, how well it would repair and desulfate battery. But I heard it's risky to try to do that on AGM battery anyways.

This deal is making me want to get another one.

Noco and CTEK are excellent chargers.

I use a BLACK+DECKER BC15BD to maintain a super old car battery. It's been working great.

I just got this with the combo ebay deal 2 days ago. It has a LifePO4 mode in addition to the AGM and standard modes. Charged up 280ah battery just fine. BMS reported the 20 amp rate being delivered. It comes with a quick disconnect so you can leave the ring terminals attached to the battery. The fan is pretty noisey, which is pretty much the same situation for all of these chargers I've ever had.

Would this charge two batteries in series or parallel for keeping a boat charged for winter storage?

I think I got my answer, it says 19V to 29.2V in 24V mode.
