Yes, you buy the unlock code from online vendor and they send it to you in couple minutes. Type in the code and it is unlocked.

now this isn't guaranteed to work, right? I'm typing this from my own unlocked boost 2023+ but I went into it thinking it was a gamble whether it would work or not. also it's essentially $5 bucks to unlock as the minimum to load into your account is 5 but the cost to unlock the 2023+ is "$3"if anyone is interested in the appropriate unlock service I have it saved somewhere from the other deal thread (or you can search through there too lol)

I had that worry as well but my phone unlocked smoothly last week.

It says it's $60 for the phone, $60 for the phone plan monthly on a 3 year contract. Cancel the phone plan and you owe them for the cost of the phone?
