Here is a good filler which will push the total above $280 so you can use the $56 coupon:

BIQU Panda Build Plate CryoGrip Glacier [aliexpress.us] (select Kobra 3 Combo if it doesn't default to it)

Add the plate and the printer to you cart and use coupon AEUS56 at checkout.
$268.17 for the printer + $16.73 for the build plate - $56 coupon = $28.90


So you would get the printer for a few dollars less and a very good build plate. If the build plate sells out, you can use other fillers.

FYI, I've bought 2 of these machines from this vendor. They sent me a V2 instead of a V1 each time. They do that if they run out of V1 which I believe has been the case for a while. They also ship super fast. I got mine in 3 days (if you live near LA).

On one Kobra 3, you can stack 2 ACE and print 8 colors
On 2nd Kobra 3, print 4 port filament guide, two top spool mount, one top horizonal mount plus original spool mount for 4 filament print. It cannot multicolor print, but it allows you to mount 4 spools and use them without remounting the spools each time you want to use different color/materials.
I have 2x PLA, TPU, PETG setup on it.
Now, if I were to eventually get a kobra 3 max with an additional ACE, how hard is it to switch the two ACE between the printers? This is almost worth it to buy this, the max combo and then sell the printer with this.

It takes about a minute or two to change the ACE as you have the pull 4-8 PTFE tubes off the printer and reconnect to the new one.

I too was considering ordering a second bundle just so I could go 8 colors with the second ACE, but unsure of how much play I can get selling the second Kobra by itself without an ACE coming along with it.

I was going to mention the same thing. I bought this exact deal about 2 weeks ago. It was shipped from LA and I received it in less than a week. I received the V2 and have put about 50 hours on it so far. This has been a huge upgrade from my ender 3 as this was literally push the button and start printing. No bed leveling, no configurations, it just works. I've really enjoyed printing with this and have purchased 16 rolls of various PLA. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again

my 10 year old likes using the library's 3D printer so i've been thinking of getting one for him. would you guys recommend getting this one? seems people are saying this is a good deal.

I'm currently suffering with an Ender 3 that has taken so much of my time tweaking and adjusting and it just isn't fun anymore. I just want something that works out of the box, with multicolor capability and decent print quality. Been eyeing the ad5x as of late (cheapest has been $305 shipped without even cashback) but then I stumbled upon this kobra 2 days ago.

If I had to choose one, I would still go with Kobra 3. It is cheaper, higher quality prints, bigger build volume, built in dryer (vs no dryer and exposed to humidity).
The only pros about AD5X is the form factor and hotends.
