I was going to mention the same thing. I bought this exact deal about 2 weeks ago. It was shipped from LA and I received it in less than a week. I received the V2 and have put about 50 hours on it so far. This has been a huge upgrade from my ender 3 as this was literally push the button and start printing. No bed leveling, no configurations, it just works. I've really enjoyed printing with this and have purchased 16 rolls of various PLA. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again
So I looked at the reviews on this seller and all the photos shared by other buyers show a V1, so I guess it's a bit of a gamble. You may or may not end up with a V2. Just to confirm, "v2" is etched on crosshead along with "Kobra 3" right? All the reviews that have photos just call out "Kobra 3" but the marketing photos from Kobra for the V2 has "Kobra 3 v2".

Here is a good filler which will push the total above $280 so you can use the $56 coupon:BIQU Panda Build Plate CryoGrip Glacier [aliexpress.us] (select Kobra 3 Combo if it doesn't default to it)Add the plate and the printer to you cart and use coupon AEUS56 at checkout.$268.17 for the printer + $16.73 for the build plate - $56 coupon = $28.90So you would get the printer for a few dollars less and a very good build plate. If the build plate sells out, you can use other fillers.
That base plate won't ship to CA. Probably causes cancer like everything else.

For a first printer? Probably not. Anycubic seems to be hit/miss with their quality and you don't know how much work it'll take to get it printing well.

Are you super techie and you like to fidget with things to get the right settings? Then maybe. If not, you should be looking at something like the Bambu A1 Mini.

I'm kinda of on the fence if I feel good about switching my order from v1 to v2… I absolutely want the v2 because i want no part of the nozzle leak issues and I would spend $12 for the camera regardless. But I also like to gamble so it would have been so sweet to get a v2 for v1 price. I got some buyer's remorse right now and definitely would have gambled if I stumbled on this thread before I purchased.

This is a wrong advice that many people just spit out, period.
All the new generation of printers are easy and out of the box printers. You do not need to tinker around and change any settings.

People have problem with these printers due to them downloading STL/3MF files that were preset for bambu and does not know how to change the parameters and cause adhesion, stringy, poor quality prints.

It never ends lol. I've only been printing for less than a year and am up to three printers, three filament dryers and countless filament which I need a spreadsheet to keep track of. Well, I shouldn't say never as I'm limited by the wife to one room and it's more than full. My 3rd printer is still new in the box because I haven't figured out how to situate it in there Smilie
You should look into Spoolman for managing your filament inventory. Seems better than a spreadsheet. Big Grin

The v2 uses the same hotend as the v1.

Tempting get one to try. Already have 5 printers. Price is just too good. Being able to use the heater while printing is nice.

V2 uses the same hotend as the S1 not V1
With that being said, V1 nozzles do not leak after they glue the heck out the nozzle from the hotend, thus you cant change the nozzle on the V1

I think for beginners, an important thing to get is a filament dryer, which makes this nice because it's integrated into the ACE Pro anyways. This is also much an easier entry point price wise than the full sized A1 with AMS combo. I'm upgrading from an OG ended 3 and while bambu was on my radar, the price difference was great enough to make me go with Anycubic. I'm hoping that they release a tool change like the snapmaker u1 in the future and I can use this ACE pro with that model as my upgrade path

I think they disabled the select $45 coupon for this. I can get the $28 to work, but this doesn't seem to count towards the $45 coupon for me.

Hmm what are the chances of getting a V2?!?!

Currently, I have been using my first and only ender v3 ke for the past 1.5 years. Being able to print with multiple colors would be fun!

I would just contact the seller and ask if they are shipping V2.
I bought 2 in NY recently and they have been both V2
