I've used the same frame the past 4-5yrs with a 72in x 25in acacia butcher block countertop mounted to it. Same feedback, no issues at all.

I have yet to find one that doesn't wobble (I have 4 different ones). The taller you go, the more pronounced it can get. That said, none of them have been detrimental.

Says the guy with a "new" account and just 2 lifetime posts... TOPSKY seller or shill. Be cautious of sd staff promoted sales. Theyre at least transparent with top level post. But comment section always gets sketchy.

Do these standing desk work? Of course. But there will be a difference compared to the top brands. You'll notice the difference if you've ever tried them. Take notice of how the jarvis, uplift, steelcase, vari all extend. Vs this older cheaper style. If you need budget desk and can pass off the sturdiness compared to the top brands, sure its an option. Just note what you buy and be informed and not totally shilled.

Used for 3 years with a 60"x30" wooden butcher-block "kitchen island counter top" from Floor & Decor. Excellent quality. Has memory and works even if you unplug it or the power goes out. (Some standing desks need to be reset after being unplugged to recalibrate their height display/sensor). 10/10 would recommend, just bought another one

edit: RE sturdiness discussion, mine is rock solid. However, I think it really depends on your tabletop that use put on top of it - mine is solid wood that's 1.5" thick, so it's HEAVY. This weighs down the desk and makes it very sturdy, no wobble. For my wife's desk I used these legs with an Ikea table top and it's basically hollow cardboard. Her desk is way less sturdy as a result. So, it has a lot to do with your tabletop selection.

There's a heavier duty version of these rated for 300lbs. https://a.co/d/8mbPWaEI've I've had that version for about 3 years now and had no issues. Heavy butcher block top, PC, heavy monitor. You do get some wobble when it's extended if you move around a lot or bump the table, but it's more due to my monitor arm being mounted to the desk. The base is very firm. I screwed casters into mine on recently and it's been great to be able to roll it around.

Bought mine in 2021, have a 1" thick 30" x 60" maple butcher block top and very large monitor and Yamaha studio monitor speakers. I would say that having some weight in the desk material is probably a good thing, the frame is pretty beefy and feels like it was made to handle a large solid wood top. I raise and lower mine almost daily. Lift action is quiet and smooth, and it is very sturdy at any height. An incredible deal at this price.

Maybe unpopular comment. I will risk it. The e7 pro is on sale at flexispot. IMHO worth the extra money and yes it is more expensive but flawless. The e7 is also very good but I prefer the pro.

We have 6 in the house. Never had an issue and absolutely love them.
Paired with Ikea tops 60" x 36" (not the hollow ones, the ~$180 ones). (take your sweet time assembling/mounting to get it right)
.
Although HomeDepot has some nice counter type offerings as well
