Bonai rechargeables have been garbage in my experience. Way under their stated capacities.

Came here to say this. I have this charger. It constantly gives red flashing lights, and I have to swap batteries around to get them charging. I would not buy this again.

Smart chargers will do this if the battery was fully depleted and you try to charge them the smart charger has to detect at least a bit of voltage to know the type pf battery and how much juice to give it. I keep an old dumb charger at my charging station area and if a battery shows red or a bad battery I throw it on the dumb charger for 10 minutes then it will charge fine in the smart charger after that unless it truly is a bad battery then it would go in the trash but so far I haven't had many dead of my Enloop batteries die on me maybe one or 2 in 14 years!

Enloop rechargeable are the gold standard for low self discharge rechargeable batteries and they only have 2100mAh so a no name brand saying it has 2800 is certainly not going to happen! I haven't tried Bonai but I would only expect 2000mAh out of them and if they gave that much I would be happy ! IF they were low self discharge and gave the full 2800mAh then they would be the new Enloop's and everyone would be buying them, and OFC they would be triple the price as well as they would have the best battery technology available!
