Yep. The only thing worth buying is their original kettle. Even still, keep in mind, they are not built like they use to be.

This deal is 2 months old - you can find the original post here: https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/1110118

I finally relented and got one of these just a few days ago. Because it's an old deal, all the stores around me only had 1 in stock - I'm guessing the floor model if they're all like the store I went to. I don't mind; it saved me time having to set it up, heh.

I've only used it a couple times as of now, but I'm enjoying it. 28" is a good size for my household (just 2 adults). My only criticism is that the top has a wobble to it, but I've read online that it goes away as you continue using and heating it. I saw some people mention having the same thing on their newer model Weber Slate at first, so it may be something that just happens with some griddles.

For $279, I'm happy with it.

I've brought two Walmart whatever brand they sell, 3-burner one for about 6 years. Still going strong. Paid less than $100.

I'm not a member of grill snobbery club. I find overpaying for grills utterly stupid.

Not sure why anyone with a Sam's membership would buy this vs their four burner version. On that one, the side tables also fold in as a cover, and it comes with a cover.

I dunno. I've recently purchased several knives from Victorinox and found that the quality has remained consistent. Would definitely buy again.

I bought the 4 burner Members Mark Sams club version. Going to take the sams club version back. Sams club version started rusting very early in spots. It could be user error on my part but I always oiled it after using it. I have a normal weber grill I have had for the last 7 years. Hope this one will hold up as well.

I currently have a 22 inch blackstone that I seasoned perfectly- 5-6 coats most times. However, here in the humid south, if I even go a month without cooking on it, even keeping it covered, I'm going to have rust spots. It's just part of the game depending on your climate.
