This TV at 85" sounds a little difficult to do that, lol.
But I've gone through several iterations in my outdoor setup. I think most people recommend churning "cheap" TVs versus a very expensive true outdoor TV.
Main thing you are looking for is screen brightness and how it handles reflections. Rtings is your friend here. Funny someone above mentioned their hisense h9g crapping out on them. I had a 55" h9g when it went on clearance and it was a perfect outdoor TV. Probably 1000 nits and excellent reflection handling. Problem was that series was a train wreck quality wise and my panel died after 2.5 years.
Right now I am getting by with a cheaper TCL, Q6 I think. Brightness is good enough but reflections suck on a sunny day. I kind of hope this one dies so I can buy something different, hah. But realistically it is fine for how often we watch it and of course later in the day when the sun goes around the other side of our house it's very viewable.
