The game changer for convenient air hose use is not a flexible hose, it is a hose reel. Even the cheapest manual hose reel at Harbor Freight makes any hose and process so much easier. I can roll out a run of the mill 3/8 100 foot hose as fast as I can walk and I can roll it back in in about 10-15 seconds. The non twisting nature of how a reel works makes the whole experience easier.

I have this same air hose, highly recommend. I like the 25 ft one handles most all jobs.

Have had one for 4-5 years. It DOES have a certain amount of "lay" for all that it's MUCH easier to handle than conventional rubber air hose...it will figure 8 unless you respect that lay.

I am not a fan of the 1/4 fittings; they work fine for simple tools but restrict air flow for anything serious like grinders or sanders. That being said, the Flexzilla hoses are miles above regular hoses, much easier to work with. If you just need something for airing up tires or nail guns this would be just fine.

The title of this post is leaving out the fact that this is a 1/4" diameter hose. It's 1/4" x 50'. NOT 3/8" x 50'. Both size hoses usually come with 1/4" fittings. It's an important distinction. If you need the airflow, go with 3/8".

These.

Anything that requires a high volume of air will suffer or just not run with 1/4" air hose - e.g. air nozzles, grinders, things of that nature. Most smaller nailers should be OK.
