Woah. Why are Amazon deals regional now? Overstock at a particular warehouse?

It looks like they are clearing some warehouses. I can only check my region but from the comments it seems same items can get discount in other regions too (same or with different %)
Also item selection matches something that can be found on Woot

Yep coupon is coded to a "Mid Atlantic" promotion. Does not show up for me on product page. Good find if you are eligible!

Maybe it's only for regional parts of NJ lol. Coupon not there for me in NJ either.

Still voting up the deal as it's a good one for those eligible.

Also note, the Pro 3 controller was just released. It is currently not yet in stock, but will be in a few weeks.

I am waiting for it, mainly because it can also transmit at 2.4 ghz, in addition to BT 5.3. The Pro 2 is only BT 4.0.

But, a great deal if you're ok with BT 4.0.

It has all those silly magnetic buttons that fall off, hard pass.

It also has no AA battery support. I liked have the option of using a battery pack or Eneloop AAs. New controller is an easy pass.

I've never dealt with magnetic buttons. Are they really that bad?

Pro 3 has already been released....search B0FFGJ3TWP on Amazon for it. And the magnetic buttons are great for people that want to use this for multiple systems. Like Nintendo and XBox reverse there A+B and X+Y buttons. Now you can reverse your buttons too for what you are playing on. It's a great idea. Just make sure you check out the compatibility chart (https://www.8bitdo.com/pro3/) as the 2 Pro is compatible with Raspberry Pi but the 3 isn't. Probably not a big deal for most people.

But if you don't care about the new stuff the 2 Pro's are pretty great. I've had a set for 3+ years and the battery life is still good on them. If you really have a issue with them dying plug them in to your console or a power bank.
