Amazon runs these coupons in select regions. I can only check mine (MidAtlantic) but I've also noticed in the comments that other members from different regions could also have those (or different values) coupons.
I believe Amazon uses these coupons to clean up their warehouses. Some of the items from these sales also end up on Woot.

These are ok as long as you don't play fps for shooting games that require aiming. The analogs are not sensitive enough for precise movement and aiming.

You also need to do a firmware update. They notoriously have about a half second to a full second or input lag without firmware updates. Luckily it's not very hard to do.

Definitely not discounted in my region. However, I did notice that upon checkout, there's $5 coupon automatically applied to my order. I bought the black iteration of this controller already for $35 when they went on sale back in May.

We will probably see more deals on the Pro 2 in coming weeks, since 8BitDo is releasing the Pro 3 soon. My guess is they'll want to clear out some old stock.
