I don't have any experience with this brand but even if the wheels came off, you could still carry it on Big Grin

Don't need promises. Please explain! Had personal experience? What happened? How long after? Used on rough surfaces? Thanks

Owned some hybrid samsonites for 15 years. They are falling apart and the wheels still rolling and spinning even though outer wheel is gone already lol. Also act as security coz no one would want to steal from a crappy suitcase.

Probably read the reviews from a different color, doesn't seem that durable but for $30 I am not sure it would be reasonable to expect it to be. For airline travel at least. Would probably be fine for light bus / train travel use where you handled your own luggage / no conveyor belts were used / luggage not piled 10+ feet high by airline employees full of redbull and rage Wink

As someone who's had a piece of luggage come down the conveyor belt looking like it exploded. I never again skimped on buying luggage after that. You 100% get what you pay for, so spend wisely!

You wouldn't want to use a cheap suitcase for check-in baggage. But having bought a $20-ish "throw-away" carry-on (which looks weaker than this home-depot one) from Europe (to get the extra stuff we bought there to state-side), and used it for multiple domestic air trips as carry-on, I can say the cheap ones can work as a carry-on - you just need to be somewhat gentle with it.

Mine was checked in at gate, it was broken when I got it back at the destination gate. The material is very thin and fragile.
