Last week I bought 20 4-wheeler dollies @$8 a piece. Used to be $4~$5 on sales a few years ago. Now the regular price is $13. I refuse to buy anything from anyone if it's not on sales, unless it's for urgent use. The inflation really gets to you.

Yeah I went in half way through the sale and managed to get everything I wanted. Definitely looking rough for harbor freight.

I rarely shop at Harbor Freight. Which brand is good if I am looking for a deep impact socket set for lug nuts. Is ICON worth the price?

What socket set impact compatible would one recommend to work on car diy stuff on a rare occasion?

I got the new icon 1/4 meme tool set for $48 but I've decided I like the smaller kit better with the passthrough ratchet. I saw someone say you can add the ratchet from the other lot to the new kit but you could also 3D print some mounts for some nut drivers on the smaller kit so I'll try both options and see which one works better

The Quinn 'master' 3/8" and 1/2" sets are nice & effectively complete sets. Nice extensions, too. The cases are a little bulky (the top in particular), but it's hard to beat the value @ ~$60 and ~$108 respectively

What size impact wrench do you own, and what is your skill level?
It is important to understand that impact tools aren't necessary for car work, they just make it faster and easier. But if you don't know how to use them correctly, you can damage the parts you're working on, by either stripping the heads off of soft bolts you're removing, or by over tightening or cross threading bolts that you're tightening.
The impact I use most is a lightweight 1/4" hex drive gun with an adapter to attach 3/8" sockets. I use standard chrome sockets with it. That's where I'd start in impact tools and then maybe a right angle 3/8" drive tool for tighter spots, like pulling the belly pan off faster.

Honestly, I don't care. I was so sick of their employees taking everything at my local HF. It might as well not exist lol.

Halfway joking, but man I dislike when employees take everything before customers can get to them.
