Here is the ones Costco offers.Keep in mind neither will actually do much for your acoustics, they're more for aesthetics. https://www.costco.com/artika-son...20081.html

Yes and no. Installed directly on a wall, they mostly dampen mid to upper frequencies, but don't really impact bass response (which is often what needs the most help). But if you screw some furring strips to the wall and then attach the panels to those, that gives you an air gap to decouple them from the wall, which improves their performance a lot. If you want to take it even further, you can put a layer of rockwool in the space behind the panels.

If anyone is interested in this and is reasonably handy (or even simply willing to try, nothing is complex), then look into some DIY acoustic panels. They're essentially all made from rockwool and can be easily customized. The simplest way is to frame out a rectangle, cut the rockwool to fit, wrap the whole thing in whatever aesthetic you want (could likely attach thin strips of wood to the frame to reproduce this aesthetic), and then hang as you would a picture.

Costco has some panels for a little less at $3.91/sqft, and they're long so you don't have to have a line halfway up your wall

The link is not to acoustic panels like the OP. Costco does sell acoustic panels though.

I would caution from using anything solid like thin wood, it defeats the purpose.Optimal to use very porous cloth material. Depth matters significantly.Room environment plays a big role but usually at least 5" in my experience.

I am about to order this style wall from floor and decor https://www.flooranddecor.com/aco...73912.html. These art3d ones aren't the same level of quality it seems and I don't see anything else that comes black.

The Artika Sonolok from Costco seems like a much better deal.

I've installed the real deal versions of these as well. They are not a bad install if the wall is fairly square, which it was.

Those panels were $550 each for 2'x8' with a lip to accept the next panel. Came in a crate ltl delivery, 10 panels in a crate and well packed. Much better quality than the ones I've seen in store and I'm sure this. Solid oak.

They are on sale currently, though that may be everyday pricing.

Would help but they are not hard. Need a good finish blade and panel saw OR circular saw with a track attachment. Some P&L and you are good. These are lightweight. I would also mark the studs and perhaps use staples if it's in the felt. Brads if in the wood but some construction adhesive should handle it fine.

I cannot stress how much a new clean fine tooth blade will help. Get a good brand is possible. Around $40 a blade

I use mattress foam egg crates and that help with the acoustics.

Unfortunately those aren't gonna do much than these in regards to acoustics

Unfortunately those aren't any better regarding acoustics. If they look better, then yes go for it.
