I have this and the day pack that attaches to it, both are great. It looks like the daypack is on sale also:

Definitely! The bigger size (70L) is also on sale with the included day pack for 157-159 depending on the color.

Depending on the extra cost, personally I prefer the 40L plus the day pack separate, because this keeps the "outside" pockets on the 40L. A bit more versatile for my personal use

Edit: There's other differences as well, I just don't remember them currently. Google if curious
