Never buy open box "new" from Amazon or Woot. They are returns with bent CPU socket pins. You have been warned.

It maybe true that you had a bad experience or you just repeat what other people may have said however I have bought several open boxed motherboards in the past from Woot and not a single one of them had an issue and were in fact all brand new. They also come with full manufacture warranty.

I doubt you find a white z890 board for cheaper then 160 on ebay but if so feel free to post it here.

It looked to me like they were brand new. I got like 4 or 5 over the past few years. Doesn't mean that they are all golden but I never had an issue with woot and their open box stuff.

Maybe Woot is different or manufacturer dependent but I've had to return 3 Asus ROG mobos to Amazon for clear damage. I've never tried Woot since I've never seen a top-tier mobo being sold but it's the same stock as far as I'm aware.

All the boards I bought where MSI LGA 1700 (2x) AM4 (2x) AM5 (1x). They might come straight from the manufacture since they have MSI stuff every other week on sale.

Hmm now I'm more inclined to take a shot at the MSI open boxes. Thanks.
