Seeing as the R7 is $1500 body-only everywhere else, I'd say yes. The 18-150 (29-240 w/ sensor crop) is a $539 lens on its own and one of the best all-around lenses in that range, you'd just want additional faster glass for low light or wides (<25mm/f2.8).

Wow this T7 still in existence. Was bad at release and 10 years later is absolutely atrocious junk to give to your kids to hate photograph and never ask again.

was able to get the order in for the R7 and 18-150mm kit lens, looks like a great replacement for my eos-m6, which feels quite slow nowadays despite the still good IQ
