Same thing happened to me, I ended up buying it at $700 and honestly I have no regrets...this setup is very nice!

To really hear what this is capable of, you need to watch a 4K blu-ray. The audio blows streaming audio away. Streaming platform audio is all compressed, unless you download the uncompressed files (which are usually huge files) and use something like a Plex server. Otherwise, it doesn't matter what your internet speed is. Netflix, Prime, Apple TV, etc… all compressed. Disc audio is noticeably better. I have Top Gun Maverick digitally and on 4K blu-ray, and it's a big difference. It sounds amazing on this system.

Anybody else's soundbar go haywire when you plug in a new device while it's running? Or have all audio cut off when it detects a new device plugged into the TV and tries to switch input on both soundbar and TV with HDMI CEC-Arc? I had to reset my soundbar to factory settings just to get audio and video working again

Have an LG C3 65" that i've been using the native speakers with for 2 years but am now waiting for the right sound bar deal. I have a tiny basement (~14x14ft) and attached neighbors. This seems like overkill right? Online discussions of this suggest the Q930D is more appropriate for my situation...but the lowest I can find the 930D is for the same price as this right at $700 usd.

Does this things audio quality hold up at extremely low volumes? I can't imagine I'll go past like 10-15 out of 100

I'm only using volume of 10 max with a room with high ceilings and it still gets loud sometimes.
