yeah, no. i LOVE budget builds, but AM4 just isn't it anymore. the 5700x3d isn't available anymore and so unless you have some other needs or already have an AM4 chip, then there's no reason to grab this.

Yeah 5800x3d is on Newegg for 400. AM4 is now becoming an antique.

Can go really budget with a $80 Ryzen 5 5500. Still reasonably fast. Probably just buy a Am5 mobo since they are compatible anyway.
