I did the mistake of purchasing this item. Useless. The bottom half is insulated but the top just sweats all the cold out. You'll have room temperature water within an hour after filling it up with ice and water.

I did the mistake of purchasing this item. Useless. The bottom half is insulated but the top just sweats all the cold out. You'll have room temperature water within an hour after filling it up with ice and water.

Yep, I was given this as a gift with two smaller cups and a bottle of wine. Cooled the wine, put it in the bottle, and went out to the beach. I wasn't pleased when less than two hours later I had hot wine in a sweaty bottle. What a pointless product. I guess rather than make the mouth a bit bigger to accommodate pouring in liquids they decided to go with this monstrosity instead.

What an odd water bottle. There are plenty of water bottles with flat lids that screw off to reveal a wide opening but the lid has a smaller opening for drinking. The only reason to shape the lid like a funnel is in order to give the bottle a classic "bottle" profile. It's form over a function 100%. They reinvented the bottle and made it worse somehow.

No, absolutely not. The volume is slightly larger than what you'd need just to pour a small bottle of wine into it.
