The 4 GB LPDDR4x memory is soldered onto the motherboard and cannot be expanded or replaced. The 64 GB eMMC storage is also fixed; this Chromebook does not have a slot for SSD or M.2/NVMe upgrade

So, it's literally junk. Thanks.

So far, I have not seen a Chromebook with upgradable/removable memory. Coupled with a small and slow eMMC storage, this is nothing more for light web-browsing and some document works. Most Roblox games are still palyable on this.
I used to have a previous gen of this 2 years ago. touchscreen IPS and older MTK chip (10-15% slower) but the same 4GB/64GB. The MTK chip helps a lot for battery life. (compared with x64 chips)
However, this has a TN non-touch panel. This should only be considered for under $100...

Usually people pay money for trash removal, not to bring it into their home

The 21.5 in HP all-in-one chrome base had upgradable RAM. that was a cool product except the base model only had 4 GB of RAM and a Pentium. and it was the only one you could usually find. there was one with a core i3 and 16 gigs of RAM but you could only do that custom and it was like 700 bucks.

I think one of the original Chromebooks had a memory slot (well over a decade ago), and more recently, Framework, though they have stopped selling them and just use Windows and Linux:

I recently saw Lenovo Duet with Snapdragon 7c and 4 GB on clearance at Walmart for $125, it was snapped up pretty quickly. This deal is unexciting, and perhaps most of the 4 GB models will be dumped over the next couple of years to make way for Chromebook Plus 8 GB models as the new minimum. ChromeOS itself is a minefield with the Manifest V3 changes and uncertainty about its future (it's supposed to be merging with Android last time I checked).

Please don't buy this. I bought a similar chromebook when all my stuff was packed up for a move and it was a 2 hour ordeal to sign a lease PDF.

4GB RAM is atrocious.

Chromebooks haven't run well with 4gb ram for years. Trust me when I say even your solitaire playing grandmother will be pissed about the speed and performance of this thing.
