Don't beat me up too bad here for my half baked post . Didn't see this on here and wanted to post. Lots of other tools qualify for the free battery. Not sure if it's hackable that's why I came looking for it on slick deals. I've had luck in the past returning the unwanted piece in store.

So I saw on reddit that if you purchase in app they will prorate each item making it "hackable" and if you use the browser it will only show the tool price. I tried it both ways and neither is prorating for me. That said, I've seen on here that people have also returned just the tool and the Lowes employee never asked for the "free gift" battery back 🤔 💭 😳
Anyone have any experience with this particular deal recently?

Just checked in the app and tool 249 the battery say FREE so if I return the tool can I keep the battery??? Or they gonna aks for the battery or they can charge me a price for the battery and no full refund???

Generally any item listed as "FREE" has to be returned with the item that made it "free", because if you didnt buy the first item then you had no way to get the other for "free".
Some associates dont know or care though.
