We got the AMD version of this, it was on sale over the weekend. While it's not the cheapest laptop, it is one of the least expensive that has almost no compromises for our use, if you're looking for a 14" laptop. (The only real compromise is the RAM, it's soldered and not upgradeable. A bigger SSD might be nice but might not matter for a while for us.)

Great 1920x1200 OLED screen
Nice backlit keyboard
Bigger than usual battery
USB C charging
Aluminum body
Good webcam
Good set of ports

Whether the pen is included seems to vary by model.

Intel Core Ultra 5 226V CPU Benchmark: Single Thread Rating 3878, Multithread Rating 18486

Agreed. Also have the AMD version and don't really have any material complaints. If I had to nit pick I wish the screen was a higher resolution, because pixel density on the 14" 2K screen isn't great. Besides that it's a great laptop. USB C ports on both sides is a totally overlooked feature by most manufactures, it makes charging a breeze no matter how you're positioned against the electrical outlet.

Title is wrong, it's an Core Ultra 5.

I think $650 is ok for this, the AMD version was $550 a couple weeks ago.

The real hot deal here is open box excellent for $508. Usually no where that large a discount for open box excellent. I ordered one of those with free delivery.

Where is the fingerprint reader on this?

I'm just in the market do get a 2 in 1. How does this compare to the Samsung 360 15.6 that's on sale for $999 at best but as well this week? Is it worth that extra $? Thanks

14" vs 15.6" screen is a whole different use case. Screen size should be the first thing you decide upon.

Thank you. I'm seeing it's about 1.5 inches wider. But only a little heavier based on Best Buy's site. 3.08 vs 3.23 lbs. Would you say it's worth the extra $ though. Both would be going in the same size bag either way. Sorry, just haven't bought a windows laptop in over a decade and want something reliable and will last at least 5 years.

Thanks for pointing out the open box, been looking for a 14" laptop with usb-c charging for my 4th grader, coming from a terrible school supplied 185 nits Chromebook.
Most laptops I found around $500 or less have 250-300 nits at 45%.

Hopefully the screen choice is good for his eye health which is already weakened from excessive ipad use?

with laptops the smaller u go the more it costs. gets exponential, every extra oz removed increases cost. 15.6" laptops are cheap, this is a good deal.

I wish I saw this earlier. I'm not seeing any other conditions offered, so I guess they're out of stock.

Edit: The fingerprint reader is on the palm rest, on the right side. They don't show it in the pics because some models don't include it, but I confirmed it in Lenovo's specs.

Sorry, yes, looks like no open box available at the moment.

So it's just under the most bottom right key on the keyboard? I have an older Lenovo Yoga and that's where it is. Weird that it's not in any pictures!
