Please don't put these bulbs in a housing meant for halogen lights. They'll scatter light all over the place blinding other drivers. They may appear brighter but they won't cast as far due to the light being scattered

Be sure to read the instructions and watch the video before you tear open any of the packages. :/ I didn't get this one, but a similar kit. Cerakote has a good video for the process, even if you don't use theirs.

The 3M headlight restoration kit (the hand or the drill mount version) is the only way to go.

3M Rubbing Compound will do the same trick in a few minutes if not seconds. One bottle will last you for years.

I mostly stick with Auxbeam LEDs. Had several sets. Last set lasted 5 years in a Subaru Outback until they both died.

I have, and never will again! Lasted one or two oil changes, they would flicker on DRL, not that bright. Waste of money. I've had LED headlights on about 10 cars, the cheap ones were the worst. I've had like 6 pairs of Nilight fog lights, never had a problem.

I installed some GearGo bulbs for fog lights on my old Forester, and they were decent until I sold the car.

FFS, please make absolutely sure you have proper cutoffs if you decide to install these in reflector housings.. The sheer amount of people who slap in these LED "retrofit" bulbs into reflector houses and then proceed to drive around blinding everyone else on the road is depressing.

I believe you. Personally I have a newer car with led lights. I got these if a friend's car lights go out. If they last 1 year that's fine plus the lens kit too.
