I use these in my entertainment center to have a couple USB cables plugged in for stuff where charging speeds aren't super important -- USB Headphones, PS5 Controllers, USB-Powered speakers, Alexa/Echo's, electric shavers, having a spare cable for charging my Ring battery, etc..
For most of it, the plug is where I'll never see it, and it lets me do all of the above with a single power brick.. most 5w bricks will run you over $5 anyways, and to get 2x bricks + 2x cables, and it being Anker versus "Five below brand/dollar tree brand" is nice. This isn't expected to replace your iPhone 17 Pro Max charger, despite how they try to sell it in the title
