I wanted the $600+ Liebherr crane that was on here a while ago, but wasn't about to drop that much money on a Lego set.
This is my consolation prize, lol

how do you keep all the pieces organized for these sets? my kiddo has a few of these now and at random points he'll break them up and want to rebuild but all the pieces are mixed up. Just curious, once you build it, do you buy a new box or something to keep the pieces/instructions?

Looks like Kohls had them on clearance for $20+, but all sold out where I am.

Ah the annoying paper bag fee of $0.80 with store pickup.

We tried that for awhile, packing them into separate bins but with enough pieces at a certain age they rather make stuff from scratch.

Also, there's a Lego app for instructions on tablets and phones. It's really good for younger builders.

Thanks for the "heads-up" -- I checked, and the Colorado stores also appear to all be OOS at this Clearance price ($22):

LOL. Our son keeps all of his deconstructed-model parts cleverly organized in several large plastic bins with no bags to separate pieces by models. All of the parts are happily co-mingled with parts from every other model.
At various stages, I tried (in vain) to put them in plastic baggies, or thin/cheap tupperware, or original boxes. He thwarted my every attempt at organization. I now try to just enjoy the time building the model with him the first time and then let go of my desire to see that model be complete for more than a few days.
Re: instructions, since those are all online now, I worry less about keeping the books.

In for 1. Using my 2 year old grandson as an excuse to build up a collection for "when he's old enough". Thanks OP
