I hate these stupid toilet wand refills with the passion of a thousand suns. They fall apart IMMEDIATELY when I try to use them and so in order to avoid having to go fishing into my toilet water for the pieces that peel off, I end up using like three of them to try to clean my toilet ONE time. Never again. Grr.

damn is your water like acid or something? been using these for years and have never had one fall apart even when I'm scrubbing hard when my kid leaves a poop to dry on the toilet bowl and i have to scrub it off with this thing. i did have one friend who accidentally released one and flushed it, which resulted in a need to remove the toilet to get the thing out.

Been using these for 3 years and never had this happen. IMO they work great except you can't really scrub the bottom of the toilet bowl rim like you would with a traditional brush

we do have very hard water but srsly they fall apart way too fast for that even to be a reason - glad yours are working better than mine did

now you got me wondering if different scents are made differently. I've primarily been using the Costco kit standard scent ones

I have a theory that Amazon sells a lot of bootlegged Toilet Wand refills lol.
The first box that I got was the pack that came with the wand and it the refills were good, never fell apart.
Ordered some refills on Amazon, and that splits in half as soon as I use it.
The refills are surprisingly annoying to find in stores. The next few times, I went to Target to get them and none of them fell apart like the Amazon ones did.
