This usually goes on sale for $20, last time posted - Aug 08, 2025.
Edit: NVM this is not the same one, this version that OP posted has a max power button. The other $20 version does not.
This is a little different from those because it has a max power button. But yeah the regular one goes on sale for around $20 pretty often based on post history.

I bought this a few months ago, was on sale for $20. Very reputable brand, I use their top meat thermometer and it's great, highly rated so I gave this a try. Amazing! I use it 2 or 3 times a week for only steaks, it take some getting used to, but now I sear a 1-lb, 1.5 inch thick steak in about 2 minutes total, incredible sear, better than my cast iron which I love. The only time is use cast iron is if I want to butter-baste the steak. I sous vide first, then sear. Highly recommend!

I bought this about 2 months ago for about $20. The igniter is very weak so if you have any wind it's going to be very hard to light. Other than that, the flame is pretty big.

Used this twice to sear my sous vide steaks as well (totally outperforms my cast iron as well). Was also able to buy some small Coleman propane tanks too, weird getting that sent to me in the mail.
First time using this torch was on some new york strip, came out well but I was still learning how to use the torch so I didn't leave it on as long.
Second was picanha and it was absolutely amazing to use, especially because this cut has such a nice fat cap.
Going to try it on a tri tip tonight, can't wait.
For everyone criticizing, they probably never had a water immersion bath made meal (aka sous vide). Vacuum seal bags are nylon and you don't taste propane unless you're like an inch away when searing. I'm much farther back, funny thing is I just put the meats on my grill (it's off, of course) and then hit it with the propane torch outside.
