It may be possible, but I have never seen in-wall rated speaker wire with clear insulation. I have also never heard of attic rated speaker wire.

My brother needs some wire to repair a (buried) electric fence on his property. Could he split this half, join the ends to get 100ft, and bury it? Seems cheap for what it is. He was looking at some thin (18-22awg) spool for a lot more.
