I bought this during the last wild Eddie Bauer sale. Ended up costing around $25 shipped. Maybe a little less. This is a decent price for a Patagonia black hole 25l copycat. Not worth much more imo. The straps aren't as padded. It's very lightweight, floppy, seems relatively durable. Useful pocketing. Although the black hole is also overpriced, I owned that one briefly before I sold it.

I also bought this during the last sale and agree with your general sentiments. Not going to compete with a real heavy duty bag, but it seems like it'll do well to pack up my laptop, charger/cables, and a book to take it to a coffee shop or something. Could be used as a "personal item" on an airline but certainly not enough storage to cover the role of a real carry on.

Yep. Fits the same role as the black hole 25. Exact same layout, which I agree, is quite useful. Not as durable and straps are just ok, but the Patagonia black hole is very floppy and flimsy feeling too at $150.

Forgot to mention…not close to 30l. Maybe under the advertised 25l or right at it.

$10 shipping. Doesn't kick in even after adding two of these, just falls short by a few cents.

Any fillers folks might have used? Min clearance item is still $20...

A $5 flashlight is about the cheapest I could find.

I also got this during a previous sale for around $25 and for that price or this price it's a great deal.

Others have said it's more like 26l or so, it's pretty similar to the Patagonia black hole, it looks decent, the fabric is some sort of PU Coated polyester or nylon I think and not a hypelon so it won't last quite as long, it will eventually start to crack or peel - but for less than $50 it's a great deal and the coated fabric makes it really easy to keep clean it's sort of rubberized.

One of things I dislike about it is that the straps are also that rubberized material and won't breath very well.

This would be a great backpack for cooler climates but It would not be a great fit for hot weather.

Also I'll say pocketing is fairly minimal, many people prefer this style but it's worth mentioning that if you want a proper admin panel this one isn't for you.

Overall it's a great looking bag, the black looks much better in person than the other color
