We appreciate your continued interest in receiving a free street tree! City Plants is actively working through a significant backlog of street tree requests that accumulated during and after the pandemic, when we received thousands of applications.
To efficiently process, pre-inspect, and plant these pending requests, we made the difficult decision to temporarily pause new applications. We are pleased to announce that our planting partners have made considerable progress in reducing this backlog. As a result, we are beginning to open up new requests in select communities.
