I will tell you exactly why this deal is quite good, if not downright slick. First of all, a similar deal on a better condition was $100 more a short while ago, and it was a very popular frontpage deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/18466465-refurbished-a-grade-macbook-air-m1-399?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thre..., then there was also this popular deal: https://slickdeals.net/f/18508246-refurb-apple-macbook-air-13-3-2560x1600-m1-8gb-ram-128gb-ssd-space...
So, reflecting on those, this is much cheaper and hence better.
Also, not everyone requires 16GB RAM to use a laptop for basic functions. This is a $300 laptop; keep your expectations real. This processor, display, speakers, keyboard, build quality still outperforms a lot of Intel and Ryzen laptops at this price. You have asked the other user to provide better deals, why don't you?

This is not a good deal. This is effectively ewaste. In 2015, 16gb ram + 512gb ssds were considered baseline. And these are garage sale finds that aren't even spit n' shine refurbs (usually with more spit than shine).
You have to have extremely minimal requirements to make this "deal" viable...especially sincere there are alternatives that far outperform this at modestly higher price points. And a high tolerance for risk since it's such an old, beat up machine. That's a hard dice roll to endure.
There was a sale on SD recently for M1 Macbook Air with 16gb ram + 1tb ssd, with a 1 year "All States" warranty -- for $500. Which is arguably a far better deal.
You....merely complain about me doing that. Which you're free to do, by all means. You also could provide alternatives to this deal....or an alternate viewpoint as to why this deal is actually a hidden gem. But you're also free to not do that either.

Also this deal is so terrible that it's sold out.
8gb of ram. 128gb of storage. 90 day warranty. All in a 5 year old used machine...in 2025. And Amazon even admits they're beat up.

I point out how utterly bad of a deal this is, while providing an alternative.

To think that constantly getting downvoted on every thread would make you stop, but you don't. On the other thread you just referred to, you were calling it a bad deal as well, and here you are suggesting that deal over this. Stop trolling on every thread.

I don't think a lot of people really understand the build quality and durability of MacBooks. Talk about lack of enough RAM and storage and here too it is common for many to not need that for their uses.
